Last updated: 2026-05-14

This Privacy Policy describes how Tracemetry ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our service.

Information we collect

Account information. Name, email address, password hash, organization name.

Workspace data. Website URLs you submit, ingested page content, tracked prompts, generated briefs and drafts, competitor lists, and other data you create in your workspace.

Usage data. Pages visited, actions taken, browser and device characteristics, IP address, and timestamps. We use this to operate the service and improve product quality.

Billing data. Processed by Stripe. We store a customer reference and subscription metadata; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

How we share information

We share information with the following third-party processors solely to operate the service:

We do not sell personal information. We do not share Customer Content with third parties except as required by law or to provide the service.

AI processing

We send your workspace data — including ingested pages, competitor lists, brief inputs, and tracking prompts — to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, others) via OpenRouter to generate visibility analyses, briefs, and drafts. These providers process the data on our behalf under contract. We do not use Customer Content to train third-party foundation models.

Data retention

We retain account and workspace data for the life of your subscription plus 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@tracemetry.com. Billing records are retained as required by law.

Security

We use HTTPS for all network traffic. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. Database access is gated behind row-level-security policies. Secrets live in encrypted environment configuration. We do not promise that any security control is perfect; you remain responsible for protecting your account credentials.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Email privacy@tracemetry.com to exercise them.

Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version here. Material changes are communicated by email at least 14 days in advance.
